Sid ‘Vicious’ Eudy, 1990s Pro Wrestling Star, Passes Away at Age 60

Sidney Raymond Eudy, known in the wrestling world as Sid Vicious, has passed away at age 63, his son Gunnar Eudy announced on Monday. Eudy died after a prolonged battle with cancer.

Gunnar shared on Facebook that his father was a man of “strength, kindness, and love,” and expressed gratitude for the support and prayers during their time of grief.

Standing at 6 feet 9 inches, Eudy gained fame in the 1990s under various ring names, including Sid Justice and Sycho Sid. He achieved prominence during the WrestleMania era, capturing two World Wrestling Federation (now WWE) championships and performing with World Championship Wrestling and the United States Wrestling Association. He famously competed against wrestling legends like Hulk Hogan and The Undertaker.

WWE praised Eudy as “one of the most imposing and terrifying competitors of his generation,” noting his “natural charisma” that resonated with fans and solidified his legacy in wrestling.

Born in West Memphis, Arkansas, Eudy resided in Tennessee for many years. He is survived by his wife, Sabrina Estes Eudy, his sons Frank and Gunnar, and his grandchildren.
