On Friday’s “Jesse Watters Primetime” on FNC, former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) and current member of the Trump transition team responded to CNN’s joint interview with Democratic presidential nominee Vice President Kamala Harris and Democratic vice-presidential nominee Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN).
Gabbard told guest host Pete Hegseth that Harris came across as weak and fearful.
Hegseth asked, “You’ve been involved in preparing President Trump for debates and have debated Kamala Harris yourself. What did you make of this interview, given the low bar and controlled environment?”
Gabbard responded, “Let’s take a step back and consider the buildup to this highly promoted interview. They’ve been hyping it for over a month, and finally, Kamala Harris emerged after 39 days to address the public. The interview revealed what they’ve been trying to conceal.”
She continued, “Harris appeared weak, insecure, and out of her depth on various issues, unsure of her positions and plans. She seemed afraid—afraid that the American people would see through her façade. It was as if she was exposed as having nothing substantial to offer. It will be interesting to see if they continue to keep her hidden or if the American people will gain a clearer understanding of who Kamala Harris really is.”
