"IDF Eliminates Multiple Terrorists in            Overnight Gaza Ambush Operations"

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced Monday that it had neutralized several terrorists overnight in ambush operations targeting fighters attempting to escape the Jabaliya area in northern Gaza.

The IDF stated:
"Following intelligence regarding attempts by terrorists to flee, deploy deception tactics, and conduct ambushes in the Jabaliya area, IDF troops operated to identify and eliminate multiple terrorists in the area overnight."

This latest operation follows a weekend assault on a Hamas command center hidden within Kamal Adwan Hospital, which led to the capture of over 240 terrorists. IDF troops remain active in the region, locating weapons, dismantling terrorist infrastructure, uncovering tunnel shafts, and destroying military structures.

The IDF’s systematic campaign in northern Gaza involves clearing city after city, evacuating civilians to southern areas, and dismantling the terrorist infrastructure of Hamas and Islamic Jihad.

The ambushed terrorists were reportedly attempting to flee the IDF’s encirclement but were detected and eliminated.

While some critics have accused Israel of “ethnic cleansing,” the Israeli government maintains that its actions are aimed solely at eradicating Hamas's pervasive infrastructure in Gaza.

A few days ago, terrorists in northern Gaza launched two long-range rockets toward Jerusalem. Although intercepted, these rockets marked the first such attack since January 1, 2024, emphasizing the urgent need for the IDF to clear the region of terrorist threats and their weaponry.

Israeli government spokesman David Mencer confirmed Monday that the IDF’s operations to dismantle terrorist networks in northern Gaza are ongoing.
