No Whites Allowed’ Graffiti Appears in Multicultural Birmingham

Police in Birmingham have launched an investigation following the appearance of anti-white graffiti in the city's multicultural neighborhood of Alum Rock. Over the past week, messages such as “no whites” and “no whites allowed” have been found, with the Daily Telegraph reporting on the incidents.

CCTV footage obtained by the paper appears to show a man in a hoodie spray-painting the message “no whites” on a wall outside a primary school in the early hours of Thursday morning. Similar Embed YouTube Video

messages have been found at two other locations, though there is no current evidence linking the same individual to all incidents.

Birmingham, the UK’s second-largest city after London, was noted in the 2021 Census as one of Britain’s minority-majority cities, with ethnic minorities constituting 51.4 percent of the population.

Birmingham’s white population has decreased from 71 percent in 2001 and 58 percent in 2011 to 48.6 percent according to the latest census.

The anti-white graffiti appeared in Alum Rock, an area with a significant “Asian” population, typically referring to people from South Asian countries such as Bangladesh, India, and Pakistan.

In response to the incidents, a West Midlands Police spokesman stated: “We are investigating after graffiti was sprayed at locations around the Alum Rock area. An investigation is underway to identify those responsible, and we are conducting CCTV inquiries.”

The spokesperson added, “We are in contact with the community and will be carrying out patrols in the area. We are working with the local authority to ensure the graffiti is promptly removed.”
