"Kamala Harris Repeats ‘Fight’ or ‘Fighting’ 20 Times in Concession Speech"

In her campaign concession speech, Vice President Kamala Harris urged her supporters to "keep fighting," repeating the words “fight” or “fighting” a total of 20 times. Although she acknowledged the election results, Harris emphasized the importance of continuing the fight for their shared values.

In her concession speech, Vice President Kamala Harris delivered a resolute message to her supporters:

"While I concede this election, I do not concede the fight that fueled this campaign—the fight: the fight for freedom, for opportunity, for fairness, and the dignity of all people. A fight for the ideals at the heart of our nation, the ideals that reflect America at our best. That is a fight I will never give up."

Harris urged her supporters to “continue to wage this fight in the voting booth, in the courts, and in the public square.”

However, some on social media noted a perceived double standard, comparing her language to former President Donald Trump’s repeated use of “fight” in his speech on January 6, 2021—a speech that was widely criticized by Democrats as inciting violence.

Conservative podcaster Kangmin Lee commented sarcastically on X, “Kamala is inciting an insurrection by saying to keep fighting. These are the rules now.”
