Kamala Harris Joins Leading Hollywood Talent Agency CAA

Kamala Harris Signs with Hollywood Talent Agency CAA for Post-White House Career

Former Vice President Kamala Harris has officially signed with Creative Artists Agency (CAA), one of Hollywood’s leading talent brokers. In a statement released Tuesday, CAA confirmed it will represent Harris “in all areas, focusing on speaking enga
gements and publishing.” The agency emphasized its commitment to working with Harris on her post-White House initiatives, aiming to expand her platform and further the causes she has championed throughout her career.  Harris was previously represented by CAA during her tenure as a U.S. senator from California, before being chosen as vice president by former President Joe Biden. Biden himself recently signed a similar deal with CAA, which also represents former President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama.

### Political Future: Presidential Run or California Governor?

While Harris remains a potential contender for the 2028 presidential race, speculation has also grown around a possible bid for California governor when Gavin Newsom’s term ends in 2026. Political analyst and USC professor Dan Schnur noted that most unsuccessful presidential candidates either retire from politics or take another shot at the presidency. “It would be rare for Harris to run for an office other than president,” Schnur said. “But being governor of her home state could potentially be very alluring for her.”  At 60, Harris remains a relatively young political figure with strong fundraising capabilities and a base of Democratic supporters both in California and nationwide. However, she has downplayed speculation about a gubernatorial bid, telling reporters earlier this month:  “I have been home for two weeks and three days. My plans are to be in touch with my community, to be in touch with the leaders and figure out what I can do to support them.”  For now, Harris appears focused on her next chapter, with CAA set to play a key role in shaping her post-White House career.
