On Friday’s episode of Fox News Channel’s “The Ingraham Angle,” Alex Marlow, host of The Alex Marlow Show and Editor-in-Chief of Breitbart, argued that former President Donald Trump should hold California Governor Gavin Newsom (D) accountable for mismanaging the state.
Marlow criticized Newsom for neglecting essential infrastructure projects, stating, “He didn’t invest in water infrastructure or build a single new dam, even as California’s population has doubled over the last 40 years. Did he even ask why the reservoir near the Palisades was empty? Did he inquire about any of that? No.”
He went on to highlight what he called Newsom’s misplaced priorities: “Instead, he focuses on things like high-speed rail, so-called ‘Trump-proofing’ California, green initiatives, and creating new salmon runs. It’s clownish. He’s been a complete disgrace.”
Marlow emphasized the need for Trump to address these failures in a constructive yet unifying manner. “Newsom is to blame for this. They didn’t clear enough brush… Our government abandoned us, and that’s why this city burned to the ground.”
